Welcome to Milomade
My name is Evie Milo and I'm based on the east coast of Scotland - in Kinghorn, Fife to be a bit more precise. The Milomade motto is "Too good to waste..." and I am a hoarder and a modern day magpie, constantly collecting lost and unwanted things, forgotten items, snippets of colour and patterns, as well as objects washed up by the sea. Everything is categorised and filed away for future use and informs my practice as a jeweller/designer/maker.
Through the process now commonly termed as 'upcycling' i.e. the practice of taking something unused/unwanted and transforming it into something of greater use and value, I design and manufacture contemporary jewellery, accessories, stationery and decorations from recycled materials.
