DaWanda Items I Love
December 12th, 2008
This weekends web watch is going to focus on all the lovely things at DaWanda which I like and have pinned and never got round to buying. My birthday is coming up in January 2009 and I’m going to treat myself with some of these…
Aliette
I love the prints by Aliette, who is a graphic desinger based in Paris. These two are my favourites…
La Señorita Pil
La Señorita Pil is Paola Zakimi, an artist, graphic designer and illustrator who loves to draw. This is one my all time favourite prints on DaWanda and I want it! It just makes me think of all those walks I’ve taken with my dog in the rain. You know the type…when you look out the window and see the rain and dread going out, but then you wrap up warm and go out and face the music. Once you’re out and about and the dog is wagging her tail and it’s not as windy or wet as you thought, it’s actually quite lovely and you also look forward to getting back home and getting cosy with a hot cup of tea…this image says all of that to me…so is a good contender for the personal birthday pressie wish list!
Wohnarchitektur
Wohnarchitekt makes lots of lovely things for the home and this candle holder is beautiful. Another strong contender for the birthday wish list.
The Tales of the Howdy Gal
This shop is run by freelance textile designer Laura Baker and these fabric flower brooches are fabulous, so I might have to put in an order for one in January…
NicoleHill
Nicole Hill makes some really lovely jewellery and I particularly like this chainmail like bracelet made from bright aluminium rings and blue rubber rings…
