Hooray for Hairbands!

I’ve got another new product line. As well as belts, I’ve been busy making hairbands from vintage fabrics. I recently got my hair cut into a short bob and although I love my fringe, it does bother me when I’m working and keeps getting in the way, so I hunted online for a pattern to make a hairband for myself and discovered Heather Bailey and her fantastic blog.

And here is the fantastic hairband I made for myself…

It’s part elasticated, so it stretches over the head and then you secure it at the back with a bow and make it how loose or tight you need it to be. I’ve also tried it with the bow at the front and that looks funky too.

I liked it so much that I made some more – all from different vintage fabrics…
