Button Notecards now on sale!
August 31st, 2010
I’ve finally got round to using the 100% card stock I purchased a while ago and made some lovely new button notecards in three different styles. There will be more styles on the way as I have plenty of ideas and designs going round my head, but three for now gives you plenty to choose from.
The cards all measure 12cm x 12cm and are made from 100% recycled card stock. They come packed in 100% biodegradable corn starch bags along with a brown craft envelope which is made from 100% recycled paper – how eco friendly! All the buttons used for these cards are discarded upcycled shirt buttons in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes.
These cards aren’t season specific and are all blank so you can add your own message and personalise each card to your liking. Available as single cards for £2.50 or as bulk buys in packs of 5 (£2.25 per card) and packs of 10 (£2.00 per card).
Button Notecards – Rain Clouds
Living in Scotland I see a lot of rain and have always wanted to make some notecards with rain clouds on them, ever since I made my first button cloud brooch. So these take on the same idea as my brooches and use 5 white buttons to make up each cloud. The clouds and rain drops are printed in a mix of greys and blues.
Button Notecards – Flowers
These lovely cards are reminiscent of my festive bauble cards as I thought they worked so well, I thought I would translate the bauble idea into something floral. Each card is unique and has a row of 7 lovely little button flowers in different colours and sizes.
Button Notecards – Big Flower
How about making a statement with one large flower instead – well these are the cards for you. A lovely single large flower is printed in the middle of each card and embellished with a single large button in a co-ordinating colour. I can make these cards in any colour and you can specify your colour choice(s) when ordering.
