I got round to photographing my lovely new button chokers today. I still haven’t finished them off and decided how I’m going to do that yet, but thank you all for your suggestions and advice. I think I’m going to make them all a standard length and attach a extension chain to each of them so people can adjust the length to suit them.
It was a bit tricky photographing these, but I set the camera on a timer and had 10 seconds to set each one up before the shot was taken – the alternative was to stick each choker down individually and I just don’t have the time or the patience for that option.
What do you think?
These ones use interesting mother of pearl type buttons. The triangular ones are very unusual…
Groups of 5 buttons work well…
Groups of three – I think these buttons work well together…
More groups of three – I love the central flower button.
I love these square mother of pearl buttons as they’re quite unusual. The large central one is lovely too as are the grooved ones below that.
These ones use lovely faux metal and metal patterned buttons…
And this one is my favourite – not sure I’m going to be selling this one and might have to keep it for myself as it’s so cute! Plus I love wearing red, so this one is a keeper I think.
I would love to hear what you think of these and whether they are something you would wear yourself or give as a gift for someone special. I hope they sell well at my next craft fair, but I will also be listing some of these online soon. If you like any of the ones shown here, let me know and I’ll either put them aside for you to pick up at the craft fair in person next week, or I can list them in my online shop and you can buy them online.
