I feel so lucky to have Colin in my life. We’ve been together for over 10 years now and I can’t believe he’s put up with me for so long. We’ve had quite a difficult few years TTC and I’ve had so many ups and downs (mainly downs) and he’s stuck by me through all of this and tolerated all my moods and outbursts and my tears.
Since my surgery last week I’ve got totally addicted to tea and Colin has been bringing me pot after pot and plumping my pillows and making sure I’m comfortable at all times.
He’s brought me magazines to read, made me breakfast in bed, lunch in bed and dinner – but he’s helped me out of bed and down to the sofa for that.
He’s done all the extra dog walking and some additional chores without grumbling too. He’s helped me get washed, he’s helped me get dressed – he’s just been brilliant.
