A Big Thank You!
January 19th, 2011
I’d like to say a big thank you to all the lovely people out there who have taken the time to pack up their Christmas cards and send them on to me. I’ve received loads of parcels over the past few weeks and have now got tons of cards to make stuff from. I wasn’t expecting many and I’ve been overwhelmed with what has arrived – it’s brilliant.
I got my first batch from Colin’s mum and then parcels started arriving in the post and kept on coming.

I’ve got so many cards and can’t wait to start making them into gift tags – I know it’s only January, but making a few packs every now and then throughout the year, whenever I have a spare minute or two will prevent me from having to do a mad rush at the end of the year. Plus I thought it’d be nice to send out a pack of gift tags to everyone who has donated as well as a free gift.
And onto that… I promised everyone who supplied their address that I would send them a free gift in return – I am aiming to sort this out at the end of Janaury once all the major building renovation work is done in our house, as all my stock got packed away before Christmas to avoid it getting covered in dust and I need to keep it hidden away for the time being to protect it. I’ve made a list of everyone who has made a donation of cards and will be sending out some treats in the post to you all soon.
I’m still happy to take donations, so if you’re wanting to get rid of your Christmas cards, feel free to send them to me – to save on postage costs, you can do what so many people have done already, which is to remove the backs of the cards with writting on and just send me the fronts.
