Free Gifts are on their way…
May 3rd, 2011
At the end of last year and beginning of this year I appealed to you to send me your Christmas cards so that I could recycle them and make them into lovely gift tags to sell. In exchange for any donations I promised that I would send out free gifts. Well believe it or not, I’m only just getting round to doing this now!.
I don’t have a studio at the moment – it’s full of kitchen appliances that are waiting to get installed into our new kitchen which we’ve been working on since the beginning of the year. So all my work and tools and stock had to be packed away. Also, as I’ve not been working very much since January because of my injured arm, Milomade has been on the back burner since then. So this is something that had just slipped my mind up until now – so I do apologise!
I’m slowly getting back into things and as I had to go to the post office today to send an order to America, I thought I would tackle the free gift situation and managed to sort out 11 little packages to send out – I have 4 or 5 more to do, but will deal with them tomorrow.

So thank you once again for all your donations – you’ll all be getting a small Milomade package in the post very shortly. Let me know when it arrives by posting a comment below. I do hope I’ve not missed anyone out – so if you’re expecting a package and nothing arrives, let me know and I’ll cross check my list.

Hi Evie! I was delighted to find a package from you in the mail yesterday! I really wasn’t expecting anything in return for the cards…I was just took them with me when I was visiting my friend in Kinghorn one day. Can you use other non-Christmas greeting cards? Might have a few of those going spare…
Glad your arm is on the mend at last and I hope you can see light at the end of the tunnel regarding your kitchen. (my bathroom still isn’t finished after many, many, months…it’s hard not to get fed up about all the mess)

be happy to use any card to make gift tags out of, so if you have any you don’t want/need I’d be happy to pinch them next time I see you.
