Pitlochry and there abouts…
July 12th, 2011
Colin took me a away for a weekend up north as his mum and dad were over from Ireland on a mini Scottish break and we thought we’d join them. We all booked into the same hotel in Pitlochry and had a lovely time. I was still hobbling about and taking the lift rather than the stairs and also staying in the car instead of going for long hikes with the dog, but it was lovely to get away and not have to worry about cooking and stuff like that.
I got to see a red squirrel – not sure I’ve seen one before!

Abee got to lots of swimming!

We also visited Blair Castle and had a lovely stroll in the walled gardens and saw lots of beautiful flowers and plants, so I indulged myself with one of my favourite pass times – photographing nature in macro mode – here are a few highlights.

The camera is brilliant but it’s been frought with problems ever since I bought it and spent more time back at the manufacturers than in my hands I think.
