Judith Brown Jewellery

If you’ve not seen Judith Brown’s jewellery before, then please go check out her website now! She combines fine silver and coloured wires with vintage haberdashery items to make unique pieces of jewellery with an intricacy and delicacy reminiscent of lace.

Working from her studio on the Wirral in Northwest England she takes functional press studs, hooks and eyes, lovely carved antique mother of pearl buttons as well as delicate old lace and upcycles them into quirky yet wearable jewellery with a lovely nostalgic feel. This is emphasized by her own unique stitching technique which she’s developed and finely tuned over the years.

I see so much button jewellery these days that is so samey and it’s so refreshing to come across someone so talented who’s put their own twist on such simple everyday items. Here are a few example of her work…
