Over the past few weeks I’ve been working on some new ring designs from some of the spoons I’ve collected over the past year or so. It’s so nice to be back in my studio at long last even though my time in there is limited. I savor every spare moment I have!

I felt a bit more prepared for the second weekend of Open Studios. Milo was in more of a routine, I was a little bit more organised, I’d made up a lot of small bits and pieces of stock and also managed to fill my bargain box with lots of half price goodies.

I’ve been wanting to post about my first ever Open Studios event all week, but life has just got in the way so far. I wasn’t sure if we were going to get the studio finished on time as we had family staying the week before the event, but miraculously it all came together in the final hour or so.

Whilst taking time out from DIY to watch the Olympic opening ceremony, I started playing about with some boxes of colourful buttons I bought ages ago. Combined with some red thread I came up with some new slinky button necklaces.
