Have you heard of Crafter’s Companion?

I recently got approached by the Crafter’s Companion for an advertising slot right here on the Milomade blog – you can see it there on the top right of the sidebar. I visited their website and entered an alladin’s cave of stuff I want to put on my Christmas list! So what better time to share this link with you as you may well want to do the same.

Set up in 2005, Crafter’s Companion set it’s aims to make papercrafting a fun and simple process, and so all the products they sell are made with this in mind. Sara Davies, the company founder, has created some really innovative products and I definietly want to get my hands on a few.

The first product they ever launched was the ‘enveloper’ – a patented wooden scoreboard for ctreating envelopes in differnt sizes. If I’d know this existed I would have got one to help me with my range of Milomade Eco Envelopes when I started making them back in 2008 – it’s such a simple idea and has now been remodelling and fashioned from durable plastic and has a few companions to boot: a tool to make envelope boxes and one to make actual boxes as well.

In fact they have so many differnt tools to choose from that you’d better go an check the site out yourself, as its’s not just an online shop. It’s a community of crafters. Check out the Tutorial of the month section as well as a Crafting Challenge section where you can get loads of inspiration and ideas for new projects.
