Quite literally! I just got an email from Pamela Wilson who runs the Doghouse Gallery in Comber, to let me know that their order has just arrived. Yippee! So this is a new stockist alert!
We met at The British Craft Trade Fair last month and Pamela placed an order for my Antique Silverware Rings. I’m over the moon that they are stocking my work and can’t wait to visit the gallery the next time I’m over – which is quite soon actually – to have a peek, as I’ve only been able to see a few images of the gallery online.
Pamela opened the Doghouse Gallery in 2000 in order to showcase her own work as she’s also a jeweller. She wanted a bit more control over where and how her jewellery was sold so opening her own showroom seemed like a good idea.
The gallery was so popular that she soon expanded the business to carry other craft makers work whose style complimented her own and I’m delighted that I am now a supplier.
“The doghouse gallery must be one of the best places in Ireland to see and buy quality craft and applied art – the good stuff, handmade by real people who care about what they produce.”
I sent the gallery a selection of my antique silverware rings – 10 in total – in a variety of designs and sizes and hopefully they’ll be on display soon. So if you’re in the area, pop in and have a browse and maybe buy…
