New Stock for St Andrews

May 12th, 2009

I’m busy getting ready for my next craft fair in St Andrews at the weekend and have been making lots of lovely colourful Button Flower Brooches and my studio is getting messy again.

I can’t seem to be able to be tidy when I’m working – there are buttons all over the place, along with bits of leather and colourful thread.

More Gift Tags Now Available

April 13th, 2009

New in my shop today are some more sets of gift tags, this time made from recycled maps and from recycled music.

As with the gisft tags made from recycled envelopes, these ones come in packs of ten also, but are a completely random mix and so no two packs are the same.

At only £2.50 per pack, you’ve got no excuses to make your gifts just that little bit greener!

April 7th, 2009

Green Ones!

New in my shop today – Vintage Button Bubble Brooches – in green. These bubble brooches are made in a similar way to my Vintage Button Cloud Brooches, but I’ve only used 5 buttons for each brooch.

This batch of Bubble Brooches are green using lots of different shades and textures.

Giftilicious!

April 7th, 2009

New in my shop today are some sets of gift tags made from recycled envelopes. I love these so much, I’m going to find it hard to part with them, but I have made quite a few and so I’m happily surrounded by little stacks of perfectly cut out patterns. But no for long as they’ve got to be packaged up and distributed to my stockists this week…better get making some more!

Clip-tastic!

March 29th, 2009

I’ve just listed a load of Vintage Button Hair Clips in my shop. They look fab in your hair and are great for pinning back a fringe – especially when you’ve just had your hair trimmed and your fringe has turned out too short, a la moi!

Is there a storm brewing?

March 18th, 2009

Thought you might like to see a sneek peak of my new cloud brooches. I made these recently but was too busy to add them to my Folksy Shop before the Charity Chic fair. They got a lot of attention and I made a few sales over the three days…here are the left over which will be going into my shop this week.

Hooray for Hairbands!

March 18th, 2009

I’ve got another new product line. As well as belts, I’ve been busy making hairbands from vintage fabrics. I recently got my hair cut into a short bob and although I love my fringe, it does bother me when I’m working and keeps getting in the way, so I hunted online for a pattern to make a hairband for myself and discovered Heather Bailey and her fantastic blog.

February 19th, 2009

I’ve listed 4 new Chain Bracelets in my Folksy Shop all priced at £14. These are made using silver plated wire with vintage buttons and beads. I even handcrafted the small silver plated clasps myself – they’re very satisfying to make and it’s nice to make a load of them in one session and then have them to hand when I need them.

New iPod Nano Cases in Stock

January 29th, 2009

Very much like my leather cases for the iPod Classic, these cases are made from the dark brown leather but have hot pink stitching instead of yellow. I’ve listed them in my Folksy shop today.  These are designed and made for the iPod Nano Gen3 which measures H=7cm W=5.2cm D=0.6cm and are therefore tiny and very cute. They have the same half circle notch cut out of the front top to make it easy to access your iPod.

iPod Nano Cases Coming Soon

January 24th, 2009

After seeing my leather iPod Classic cases in my Folksy store, someone has asked me to make them an iPod Nano case – maybe with a pocket for the headphones if that’s possible. I’m going to try and make them with and without a pocket and might even add that feature to the current range of iPod cases.
