And the winner is…

February 7th, 2011

Entries to my Valentine’s Day Competition ended at midnight last night and this winner has been chosen. A big thanks to everyone who took the time to enter. I didn’t get very many entries – not sure why this is, but it sure did make the judging process easier for me as I only had a few images to compare rather than hundreds.

October 28th, 2010

I’m chuffed to bits! I entered a blogging competition recently at www.moo.com. They were looking the ‘Expert Tips’  and thought I would enter my blog post about how to become a Facebook pro – and they liked it! Not enough to get me first prize, but I’m happy to come in 2nd place as I win £100 to spend at moo.com. That means a lot of mini Milomade cards for FREE – superb!

Out of the Blue Craft Fair

October 24th, 2010

I had a fab day in Edinburgh yesterday at the Out of the Blue Arts Market in the Drill Hall. It’s a great venue – nice and bright and airy. I got a great stall location too and felt very lucky to be in the main thoroughfare – it was terribly chilly though so I kept my cardigan/coat on all day. Music played all day and the cafe was always full to the brim with people and so there was a constant stream of customers with only a few lulls here and there throughout the day.

Raising Funds for Endometriosis UK

September 22nd, 2010

I recently posted up info about the Charity Chic Eco Fashion Fair happening in October. It’s a charity event and each stall holder is asked to support a charity of their choice and either make a one off donation to that charity or donate a percentage of their sales. I’ve decided to support Endometriosis UK this year and will be donating 10% of my total sales to the charity.
