I’ve been really busy lately making new pieces for my Echoes Collection. The process has been quite easy as these ideas have been rattling around my head for several months and it’s been lovely to finally realise the designs at last.
They keep falling… Today I’m quite excited to launch a new product – my copper cloud decorations. These came about through a challenge I set myself recently – to make something from the scrap metal on my bench.
I’m taling part in an Instagram yhing caled #MarchMeetTheMaker and one of the posts I need to add to my timeline is about the tools I use. I decided to focus on my jewellery making tools as they take up most of my studio and are what I use the most.
Part of the #MarchMeetTheMaker challenge on Instagram is to post up an image of my workspace, I had a look at what other Instagramers were posting today and all the workspaces were so styled and extremely tidy and pristine – they just didn’t seem real.

I joined Instagram in January and instantly loved it. It’s like having a visual diary and I try and post to me timeline on a regular basis, but often it’s on the days I’m in the studio working.
I’m firing all pistons and it’s all systems go at Milomade HQ at the moment. BCTF is only 7 weeks away! Amazingly I don’t feel too stressed – yet. But a lot of that is down to my endless list making and my relentless need to keep going without burning myself out, but also having […]
I’ve been working steadily over the past few months on a new collection of jewellery. It’s based on a few pieces I’ve always made and have sold successfully in the past. I just want to expand the range and develop it fully as I intend to launch the collection at BCTF next year.
