I mentioned on Facebook earlier that I’d made some brooches from zips last night and that I’d post up some pictures on my blog. I followed a few tutorials and kind of made things up as I went along with their guidance and I really love the results.
I saw these buttons on eBay recently and just couldn’t resist getting a few packs. They’re so lovely and perfect for this time of year – if it’s going to snow for real, at least I can have a little snow in my life anyway.
I stopped making Cloud Brooches a while ago as I ran out of the leather scraps I sourced from an upholsterer and not been able to find a substitute supplier since – I’ve not been looking very hard though and been concentrating on other things to be honest. Historic Scotland ordered a batch of cloud […]
I got my second wholesale order from Historic Scotland recently which is rather exciting, as my stuff must be selling well for them to re-order so soon. My work is being sold via the Craft & Clan shop at Stirling Castle – somewhere I’ve never been and must go to – and I’ve been working […]

I was approached by Flip recently and asked whether I could made them a batch of custom badges with their logo on for an up can coming promotion. I love making badges so I gladly accepted the challenge despite my limited use of my right arm.
