Round the Horn is now done and dusted and I’d like to thank everyone who visited my studio on the day and for those who completed our Creative trail around the village.
We’re moving into the festive season now, so I’ve just updated my shipping page with last posting dates for Christmas. If you want to get your gifts in time for Christmas, please make a note of these dates to avoid disappointment.
In conjunction with the Winter Warmth exhibtion at The Park Gallery, I will be running two creative recycling workshops on Saturday the 28th November. One in the morning and one in the afternoon.

In August 2013 I wrote the blog post “Books I’ll never have time to read” about some books I bought at a local book sale. Guess what – it’s now beyond August 2015 and I’ve not read any of them! Shame on me!
I’m so excited to announce that the Milomade Messenger is now here. I’ve been sewing like a mad woman of late and have produced 8 bags so far and love them all.
Or a complete shark? On Monday night I took part in a very exciting charity fundraising event organised by my boss Duncan Glassey and the folk at the Apex International Hotel in Edinburgh. We played chess for charity and one game out of 20 is still to be concluded…
I’ve mentioned before that I live the double life of a designer/maker and web designer. I work in Edinburgh one day a week for a company called Wealthflow and my boss, Duncan Glassey, is doing something awesome later on this year that I’d like to share with you.
So that’s it! There’s no going back now! I broke up with my accountant on Friday and what better way to start a new week than registering for self assessment online!
