What Katie Does…

November 7th, 2008

This weekend I have mostly been…

Creating Tutorials and discovering What Katie Does…

I just posted my gift bag tutorial on the Cut Out + Keep website and after browsing through the site for a while I came across their Crafty Superstars section and through that discovered Katie Marcus and her really cool blog: What Katie Does

A fellow web designer / crafter – so I’m not alone in this weird and wonderful world of web design fused with craft after all! I really like her blog and the stuff she makes – her illustration style is great. I love her letters – unfortunately no ‘e’ or ‘m’ so I’ve settled for the ‘o’ which is lovely.

Disovering Folksy

Another cool thing is that by looking at Katie’s blog I discovered Folksy which is a UK based shop site:

…with the mission to support craft and design talent through showcasing work and also providing a cost effective platform to sell ’stuff’.

So expect to see milomade there quite soon.

Isn’t the web tangent process just wonderful!
