I’ve been away from my blog for a while now as I’ve had too much going on, so I’m going to be doing a bit of catching up over the next few days as there’s been so much I’ve wanted to blog about but just not been able to. I nearly stepped on this today – a poor little dead mouse, strategically placed by one of the local moggy’s at our gate – I’m convinced it’s a warning message of some sort for our dog Abee.

Colin took me a away for a weekend up north as his mum and dad were over from Ireland on a mini Scottish break and we thought we’d join them. We all booked into the same hotel in Pitlochry and had a lovely time. I was still hobbling about and taking the lift rather than the stairs and also staying in the car instead of going for long hikes with the dog, but it was lovely to get away and not have to worry about cooking and stuff like that.
