I’ve been working steadily over the past few months on a new collection of jewellery. It’s based on a few pieces I’ve always made and have sold successfully in the past. I just want to expand the range and develop it fully as I intend to launch the collection at BCTF next year.
A customer approached me at the end of last year in the hope of commissioning me to create a few pieces of jewellery for her from some heirloom antique silverware she had.
I’ve just added some new products to my shop that are perfect for Spring – my new range of notecards with a flower design that are a card and a gift in one, as you not only get a lovely printed card, you also get 4 lovely button hairclips!
I got these on eBay the other day. Two are the same pattern with a lovely engraved letter ‘G’ on them. The other has a twisted stem and the end looks like it’s been broken off, but I thought it was interesting enough to purchase. I bought it for the challenge.

I bought a beautiful set of silver teaspoons on eBay and they arrived today in a lovely old red case. So I have 6 spoons to make rings from.
