Milomade Craft Collections - Decorations

When I was a child I used to make garland decorations with my Mother to decorate the home at Christmas. I remember threading white polytyrene packing kernals onto white thread and hanging the long strands up around the house and on the Christmas tree - transformed from the boring status of packaging into strands of snowflakes, it was pure magic!

I still love making decorations at any time of year, but particularly at Christmas time and we always hang homemade snowflakes up to decorate the windows. Paper garlands are also perfect as all year round decorations.

You can use them to decorate your home, garden or marquee for any special occasion. Made from small or large circle or love hearts cut from maps, music or envelopes, they can be jazzed up by choosing any colour of thread to suite your mood or theme. The circles and love hearts are evenly spaced and sewn together to form long strands. I am happy to take custom and bulk orders for any occassion or event.

If you want to 'Go Green' and have an eco friendly wedding or party, why not consider my eco friendly confetti made from recycled magazines, namely The Ecologist, which was printed on 100% recycled paper using environmentally friendly inks. Back issues destined for the recycling bin, have been saved and turned into confetti. Also made from recycled sheet music, you could use these hearts to decorate your tables or use them as traditional confetti.
