I love stationery, I love it so much that I sometimes wonder whether I have a fetish. When I was a child I used to collect erasers - the ones that were scented like candy and came in all shapes and colours and 'flavours'. I guess this is when my love of stationery began.
Why send someone a letter in a plain white envleope when you could paint Winnie the Pooh pictures all over it, or craft a new envelope out of pages from a fashion magazine. That's what I used to do. Each letter sent was hand crafted and unusual and would hopefully bring a smile to the face of whoever was recieving it - everyone likes to feel special and recieve suprises.
So I've rekindled my childhood passion for stationery by creating a range made from recycled materials, namely maps, music and envelopes with interesting security patterns. Choose from packs of Envelopes and Gift Tags as well as large and small Notebooks.
As you know I love to recycle and so when my partner came home from work one day with a box of unclaimed student sketchbooks I couldn't resist making notebooks from them. I team the high quality art paper with cereal boxes which I use to make the covers and these are decorated with either maps, sheet music or patterned envelopes to cover up the cereal branding.
