Sending Smiles by Snail Mail
Since the start of the Covid-19 Lockdown I’ve been writing lots of letters to friends and family and sending them via snail mail. I’ve also written to friends who live just a few streets away and on my daily walks, have hand delivered these to spread a little joy and happiness. Nothing beats getting a handwritten letter in the post! Well maybe chocolate….
Don’t send flowers…send a Happy Box! They contain lots of goodies, so that you can spread a little joy and happiness too.
What will you get?
- 6 Greetings Cards I’ve designed with black and white outlined illustrations to colour in
- 6 Envelopes – 2nd class stamp can be added as an extra
- Rainbow stickers to decorate your envelopes
- A pack of 12 crayons for the colouring in
- A pack of 6 rainbow badges for you to wear and share
- 5 Heart chocolates
- A pack of sunflower seeds for you to grow with kid friendly instructions
The illustrations on the cards have thick outlines, making them perfect for kids to colour in and not worry about ‘going over the lines’ if that’s something they worry about. You can leave them to it, allowing yourself to have a wee break and some time to yourself. Or you can join in and do some colouring too – I find it rather therapeutic.
The cards, envelopes and stickers are made from 100% recycled eco card and paper stock. In fact everything in this box, apart from the crayons and badges, is recyclable and/or biodegradable. The chocolates are wrapped in foil and I’m sure they’ll disappear fast too. All the packaging is paper/card based and can be put in your kerbside recycling bin.
