I take on commissions regularly for copper type with little brass embellishments. Please browse through the photos to see examples of all the pieces I’ve made so far. It’s a joy to make something bespoke and in the past I’ve fashioned silhouettes of pets and objects of significance in brass to accompany the chosen copper letter.

The copper type is hand-cut from sheet copper which is either salvaged from industry offcuts or flattened plumbing pipes.

I hand-stamp the surface with decorative shapes and patterns. The letter is then soldered to a copper base alongside it’s brass embellishment, which enables it to stand up on it’s own.

To place a bespoke order, simply select the letter you’d like me to make from the drop down and add the item to your basket. If you want to order more than one letter, just come back to this listing and add another. Once at the checkout, use the ‘Order Notes’ section to give details of your brass embellishment – remember it’s a flat silhouette that is unstamped and plain.
