This pendant is related to the butter knife ring I posted the other day. That ring was made from the blade of the butter knife. This pendant is made from the handle or stem.
I’ve transformed it into a beautiful unique pendant which measures 5cm and is hung from a 40cm slim sterling silver snake chain.
It has a simple sleek design that runs around the edges of the stem and I’ve oxidised the silver and polished it back to accentuate the design.
The hallmark dates the butter knife back to Sheffield, 1929 and it was made by the Pinter Brothers. This hallmark was imprinted on the blade of the butter knife and this was retained on the ring I made.
