This Acorn Pendant is a stunning eco jewellery piece, made from recycled glass and metal.

This pendant is a beautiful bright orange with a silver acorn cap. The beads are cultured sea glass. They are made from recycled glass that’s processed to create a smooth, frosted finish.

I texture the metal and the cut out circles are domed to the fit the curve and shape of the beads. The metal is oxidised and polished back to reveal the texture. The beads and caps are held in place by a handcrafted bail which I fashion from a silver strip of EcoSilver wire. I use a high heat to ball one end of the wire and once the pendant elements are threaded in place, this is twisted to form a tight spiral.
