I’ve been busy working away in my studio – the beginnings of a new jewellery collection, as yet with no name. It’s new in production, but it’s been in my head for years, I’ve just never had the time to experiment and devote enough time to development until now.

I’ve been working steadily over the past few months on a new collection of jewellery. It’s based on a few pieces I’ve always made and have sold successfully in the past. I just want to expand the range and develop it fully as I intend to launch the collection at BCTF next year.
A customer approached me at the end of last year in the hope of commissioning me to create a few pieces of jewellery for her from some heirloom antique silverware she had.
I made these pendants a while ago and never really finished them off. I just discovered them in a box whilst looking for something else.
A week or so ago I signed up for a challenge set up by The Design Trust called ‘Get your online shop ready for Christmas’. It all started with a webinar which was amazingly informative and this led to people, like me, posting up 5 tasks to complete before the end of September.
