I will be opening my doors to the public on the first weekend in September as part of Central Fife Open Studios 2018. This is an annual event I’ve been involved in for a few years now and I’m really looking forward to it.
I will be the only studio open in Kinghorn this year, so please come along and say hello before visiting the other 33 studios open over the weekend.
I will be showcasing my jewellery collections made from recycled silver teaspoons, as well as a range of other pieces from past Milomade collections that I no longer sell online. There will be lots of items on sale at reduced prices as well as a new range of Messenger bags which are currently in production. I’ll also be working qaway on new pieces and will be happy to demonstrate my processes and show you how I turn humble spoons into beautiful unique pieces of jewellery.
I took over as Chair of the event at last years AGM and have been really busy with my other committee members this year updating the website, reviewing new applications, accepting members as well as liasing with a designer with regards to our new brochure for this year.
I’m now in the process of doing our social media campaign across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and posting daily about the artists involved this year – so check out our social media channels for daily updates and info.
