If you’re a fan of my jewellery and can’t get to my studio in Kinghorn here in Scotland to see it in person, why not visit one of my lovely stockists around the UK. You can check my Stockists page and see if there is somewhere near you. If you’re near Hebden Bridge then you’re in luck.
I’ve just sent a new batch of unique pieces down to the lovely Heart Gallery in Hebden Bridge and they’re putting them out on display now. Over the next few months they will have a range of pieces from three of my jewellery collections in stock. Here’s a re-cap of what I’ve just sent down to them.
Tail of the Whale Collection
This collection is very special to me and the pendants are incredibly popular, especially here in Fife where we regularly see whales visiting the Forth. The tail of a whale is like a human fingerprint, identifying individuals through patterns, shapes and textures. The pendants are handcrafted from the bowls of recycled sterling silver teaspoons and each one is totally unique. Whales symbolise creativity, well-being, nurturing untity and emotional depth – that you can accomplish your goals and have the strength and intuition to overcome the many obstacles in life. Wear a whale tail pendant to state your intention and desire to connect with the deepest parts of life and be open to universal truths. Here are a few examples of the whale tail pendants the Heart Gallery now stock.
Little Details Collection
I don’t currently stock this collection on my website or anywhere in the UK, so the Heart Gallery have total exclusivity with this collection at the moment.
Elegant, simple and sweet, my Little Details collection focuses on those little finishing touches that give an outfit an added bit of sparkle. Taking a basic circle as a starting point and working solely with 100% recycled EcoSilver, different patterns and textures are imprinted into the silver surface. Here are a few of the pendants I sent down.
The collection is still in development really, so much so that I don’t have any decent photographs of the studs. They come in three different sizes in either a plain silver or oxidised finish and in a few different textures. Below are a few work in progress shots.
Antique Silverware Collection
I guess this is the collection I’m most know for – I am the Spoon Lady of Scotland afterall. My Antique Silverware collection focuses on historical details and designs that are brought into the present and given new meaning and lease of life. Made from the stems of sterling silver teaspoons, these rings are wearable heirlooms are available in a wide range of designs, in small limited edition sets of up to 10 rings. The provenance of each ring is carefully researched and documented. This information outlines the silversmith as well as the city and year in which each individual teaspoon was assayed and accompanies each ring at the point of sale. The Heart Gallery have just receiced 10 of my spoon rings – they all come in different sizes and there’s only one of each design available. Here are the rings they now have in stock:
