Get yourself down to Cheshire if you want to get your hands on some of my latest Antique Silverware Rings. The Real Thing is a family run business and they focus on buying British wherever possible, showcasing many new UK designers and craftsmen. I’m really delighted to add them to my list of stockists.
I’ve just sent a batch of designs to their lovely shop in Sandbach that faces the historic Celtic crosses overlooking a picturesque cobbled square. So you can pop in and treat yourself to something lovely and Milomade and get some history in during your visit too.
The Sandbach Crosses are two 9th-century stone Anglo-Saxon crosses that are erected in the market place. They are unusually large and elaborate examples of the type and have always been a pair. They were carved by the same hand and depict religious scenes, doll-like heads and beasts in panels, together with vine-scrolls, course interlace patterns and some dragons. Inrteresting stuff!
