The Salvaged Collection

The Salvaged collection focuses on individuality. Unused elements from other collections are playfully incorporated in to each piece. I like to mix a range of materials, shapes, colours, and textures to create this range of unique statement pieces.

A lost button, pieces of copper plumbing pipe, the bowl of a teaspoon and discarded bits of silver wire are the starting point for ‘Salvaged’. I experiment to see how they fit together. Shapes that complement each other are joined with rivets or with heat. I add colour with recycled aluminium or plastic. The unique statement pieces that form this collection are a result of this exploration and are not only conversation starters, but something to wear and cherish everyday.

The Spoon Lady of Scotland - Evie Milio - In her studio in Kinghorn, Fife, Scotland

There's no lovelier feeling than unwrapping a new piece of jewellery, that not only has been selected especially for you, but also comes with a tale to tell.

"All my jewellery is made sustainably from recycled silver with little or no waste. Each 'wearable heirloom' is accompanied by a collection card explaining the origin of the materials used. Gifting jewellery is such a personal and private thing and when you purchase my work, I feel honoured to be a part of your story and that you trust me with those very special, personal and precious gifts."
