This month I’ve been taking a retrospective look back at the work I made last year. The first Lockdown seems like such a long time ago now. It was such a strange period and we had to adjust quickly to a new and different was of living, working, schooling, shopping and socialising.
July is the month to launch a load of new work it seems. I’ve got my Lockdown Limited Editions about to arrive back from the Assay Office next week. I also made a few statement neck pieces last week which have just been added to my online shop.
Lockdown is making me think more creatively with the silver I have in my studio. I had a lovely day creating last week. I discovered some strips of silver that I had originally planned to make into bangles.
So far during this lockdown I’ve made two things I put on my #BucketList of projects. My Jellyfish Pendants and now these new Spoon Earrings. That’s one of the positive things that’s come out of this lockdown – I’ve been able to experiment and try ideas out that have been lingering on my to do list for a long time.
