Lockdown is making me think more creatively with the silver I have in my studio. I had a lovely day creating last week. I discovered some strips of silver that I had originally planned to make into bangles.
They were for my Echoes collection but I discontinued the designs at the end of last year, so the silver has been sitting around gathering dust.
I got my thinking cap on and had a bit of a play, and came up with two new products which I’ve just added to my online shop.
Twisted Wrap Ring
First off is this gorgeous twisted wrap ring made from hammered silver. It was originally going to become a riveted Ripple Bangle
The strips were already hammered and hallmarked and I couldn’t think of anything better than to make a ring. Believe me when I say it’s beautiful and oh so lovely to wear.
I am keeping the ring pictured for myself, so that leaves 4 rings available to buy. Because they’re wrap rings, I can make them to any size. Simply visit the shop and select the size you’d like before adding to your basket.

Split Circle Studs
Next up are my new split circle studs. These are made from strips of plain smooth silver that would’ve originally been made into Urchin bangles. I decided to texture them using one of my metal punches with a linear design.
The lines are repeated along the strip and I then punched out half circles in two different sizes. These were loads of fun to make.
I’ve created three listings in my shop – Small studs, Large studs and a mix of the two if you fancy a mismatched pair.
