I’ve decided to close my DaWanda store as I’ve now joined Folksy and much prefer it. So all the items have been removed from DaWanda and are slowly making their way over to their new home of Folksy.
It’s nice to be able to list my items in Pounds and Pence rather than in Euro’s and it’s nice to have a really simple interface that’s quick and easy to use. I was finding listing items on DaWanda took forever as there are so many things you have to fill out for each item and the system had so many glitches that you would always have to re-visit each listing straight away to fix things. Whereas on Folksy I managed to list all my safetypin bracelets within an hour – easy, simple and painless, in fact quite enjoyable. I think this is why my shop on DaWanda was never really full, as I always gave up after listing three or four items as it was such a tedious, long winded procedure. It just didn’t work for me.
So Folksy here I come. I’ve already listed a lot of my stuff, but still have a lot more to add. I was in full throttle mode and then tonsillitis struck and I lost the momentum. Hopefully I’ll be back on top form next week.
