Well I’ve been busy over the past few days making silver earrings from pairs of lovely vintage buttons. I’ve been putting aside pairs of interesting small buttons for a while specifically to make earrings from them and have just got round to getting into this project this weekend. Loving it! Not only am I getting better at soldering and finishing, I’ve also learnt how to make simple ear wires.
There are 10 pairs I want to make and so far I’ve completed 5 and should be able to finish the other 5 this evening and tomorrow evening. They’re all at various stages of completion already, so not much more work to go. Here are some images of the completed pairs…

These are pretty crappy images as the light was really variable and I was rushing to do them. Going to take some better ones and post those up when they’re done.
