The Wow Thank You! website went live today. It’s a new e-commerce site promoting the talents of artisan from all over the UK. At launch there are around 1000 products for sale, alot of which are unique on-off items – that’s quite impressive!
“WowThankYou encourages the general public to look beyond the shopping centres and buy unique, home-grown, gifts instead. Promoting the work of 230 small, often home-based, businesses WowThankYou is providing an online outlet for selected artisans who usually sell only through regional craft fairs.”

Milomade is among these 230 artisans and you can find my profile on the site here – I only have a few items listed at the moment, but hoping to get a load more up there quite soon.
WowThankYou has been set up by friends Tracey Kifford and Georgena Bowdidge who lovingly sign off all correspondence with G & T and I’m sure they’re having a well deserved rest and a Gin & Tonic right now after the hard week they’ve had getting the site live on time. They both took time out from their careers to look after their children – rightly so – and came up with the idea for the Wow Thank You website after failing to find ‘different’ quality gifts online.
“In this current climate, we should all be encouraged to ‘Buy British’. Why import mass-produced goods when we have UK-based talent who put love and care into every item they make?” G & T
Georgena and Tracey vow to support these small businesses and the many more who are applying daily to join the WowThankYou website community. I think it’s going to be a great success! They’re currently running a competition to win a handmade Bubs Bear teddy made from gorgeous Kath Kidston fabric – hop on over here to enter!
