More Vintage Button Pendants

I love making button pendants from my huge collections of vintage buttons. I found a whole bunch recently that are brightly coloured and carved and patterned and these make perfect pendants as they’re so distinct and unique – most of them are one-offs so the resulting pendants are one of a kind creations and I love the exclusivity of that – wearing one and knowing that not another one in the world exists is kind of special.

Here are a few more I made last week:

The carved buttons are just so lovely – the blue has a diamond shape, the orange one has a central square and a cross cut out of it so you can see right through it and the pink one has a lovely heart design. I’ve antiqued the silver and the 40cm chains as this enhances the vintage nature of the buttons and also sets off the colours more than the standard silver look.

Here are some more of the buttons I will be using to make pendants with over the next few weeks – if anything takes your fancy let me know!

I’m thinking I might group a few together to make clusters, but not sure yet as I like them as single buttons so much.

love these pendants – my mum is button am – we collect them to use for scrapbooking and it has become a bit of an obsession for her this year – one of these would be great for her Christmas present – cant find them in your shop – are they there? can you point me in the right direction? thanks

Hi there – so glad you like them – I did have them in my shop for a while but removed them as they featured in a pop up shop a few weeks ago – I’ll be adding the remaining ones this evening or this weekend and can send you a link once they’re up.
