I went up to Dundee at the weekend to see the degree show and was mostly disappointed by what I saw. Only a handful of talented folk stood out. One in particular that amazed me was Linsey McGregor who’s work is paper based. On display were some extraordinary pieces of body art/jewellery and these were accompanied by a video of her transforming a flat sheet of paper into something amazing.
I could not believe how many folds had to be made and how intricate and time consuming the process was. It was so amazing to watch that I watched it twice! So this week I decided that my Theme Thursday would concentrate on amazing paper creations.
