Getting Ready for Craft Fairs

I’ve got a couple of craft fairs coming up – one this weekend in Dunfermline and another the following weekend in Edinburgh. I recently bought some new stands from IKEA and have been dying to try them out and decide how my stall is going to look. So yesterday I just couldn’t concentrate on work and so decided to do a test run and set my stall up to see how it will look with the new stands. I’m delighted!

I think they look really great, but they do need to be taped together to make the display sturdy.

Another thing I created was a new way for me to display some of my bracelets and more importantly my hair bobbles. I’ve never been happy with the way I’ve displayed these before which has always looked messy and contributed to lack of sales no doubt. Now they are properly displayed and have prominence and hopefully sell better. I’ve also re-jigged my board and tidied them up a bit as my products were a bit cramped. This was mostly down to lack of space. But now with my new stands, I’ve got an extra surface on which to place items and it’s worked out great.

Here are a few pics of the basic set-up…
