We had a family day out in Glasgow last Sunday and visited Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. I’ve never been before and neither had Milo and the last time Colin had visited was when he was studying in Glasgow a long time ago.
Milo loved the place!
He ran around pointing and gasping and giggling.
At giraffes…
At horses…
and other stuffed animals…
I had a good look at the fossils…
and we all had great fun in the Egyptian section, wrapping and un-wrapping a mummy.
The museum has it’s own hive indoors which was facinating…
We all thought these heads were brilliant…
We spent a long time in the rainforest room looking at bugs and butterflies, but I particularly loved the jewellery made with feathers, teeth and bones.
A brilliant day out!
We’ll be returning again soon!
