On Sunday we decided to visit Belfast Zoo and in N.Ireland most shops and supermarkets, we discovered, don’t open until 1pm on a Sunday. That’s fine we thought – there’s a 24hr Tesco on the outskirts of Belfast – we’ll go there to get bread and essentials for a picnic.
We decided to go to the zoo today and pick up our membership cards as while we’re away we hope to go to Belfast Zoo again as we will be able to get in for free.
We had a really lovely afternoon yesterday in the sunshine. We visited Ravenscraig Park in Kirkcaldy to walk the dog and saw woodpeckers and lovely flowers then played in the playpark with Milo.
What a fabulous day! Not a cloud in the oh so blue, blue sky!
I love the light in my studio in the afternoons. It’s sunny, warm and makes interesting shadows appear on the frosted glass.
Milo had his booster jabs this afternoon and has not been his usual giggly self since. He’s been quiet all afternoon, off his food and rather sleepy.

My son took his first unsupported steps today! Amazing! I have no photo’s, no video and no need for either. He’s amazed me in so many ways today and I love him to bits!
My life is a work in progress! I’ve got so many things on the go at the moment but none of them necessarily work related that I feel a little stressed at times, but you know I like to keep busy and all this stuff I’m up to, plus Milo, are certainly doing just that.
