On the 21st May, Creative Fife held a celebration event to toast it’s own success over the past two years – it’s going to be an annual event from now on. It was a great evening with networking opportunities and talks. The evening was held at the Rothes Halls in Gelnrtothes. I was asked to showcase some of my products and I was delighted to do so and even though I had a limited space, thought my little display provided a bit punch and vibrabcy to the evening, but then again I am a little biased in my opinion.
I was sharing a cabinet with the jeweller Sarah Anderson who makes really lovely intricate precious metal chainmail jewellery.
Here are a few pics of my display:
I’m not great at networking and so only made a few new contacts, namely Sarah Anderson, the photographer Chris Mackenzie and Claire Roche – another jeweller. I also met Ruth Walls who runs Art Room 59 in Dunfermline – a place I’ve only heard about. I’ve seen the website but never been there, so I must take atrip to Dunfermline to check it out.
Some images from the event can be seen here and you can read about it on the Creative Fife website here. I even got snapped for the gallery…
